YouPage started from a simple observation: a great many people in India are already running a business through Instagram DMs, and the tools they are handed were designed for somewhere else.
Sell anything online in India today and you meet the same wall. Marketplace platforms take a cut and own the customer. Website builders assume you have a developer, a logo and a warehouse. Payment links work, but leave you copying UPI screenshots into a notebook.
So people improvise. The price goes in the caption. Orders are tracked in a WhatsApp chat. Addresses are retyped into a courier app. It works, and it does not scale past about twenty orders a month before it starts eating the time that should go into making things.
YouPage is the thin layer that removes the improvising. One link that answers the repeated questions, takes the money properly, and hands you an address instead of a chat log. Nothing more ambitious than that.
